You know I have my beefs about Wal-Mart that I feel I have some justification with such as: lack of Unions and ANY attempt to establish one with be squashed with the farthest lengths possible gone, ample Chinese products being sold and rural Monopolies created that DESTROY local stores and take money out of the community ( Read more... )

Yeah it's a damn shame. If more companies would run shit thrifty like Wal-Mart and I don't mean with the Unions but with the upper management people quite a pretty penny would be saved and a job or two spared. I honestly don't see why these companies don't have their own product divisions that would make nice suits and so forth for meetings that are comparable to Armani and so on. Also they could have these in store logically. For those trips they should also stay in Hostels and rent out 6-8 people rooms, then they get them all to themselves and save quite a bit of money. Honestly I don't see the problem ( ... )

Well I was in the CITY too and all I saw were convience stores with the area I was around. Imagine gas stations WITHOUT pumps and you have the stores around Seoul. There are like NO fountain drinks though. Hehe. I bought Soju there and I have to tell you it's fucking TERRIBLE cold.
This is what I think about Korea and you may disagree with me. Korea is more like how prices on goods would be in the U.S. IF we didn't have people that were near slave labor making them. Also I think they do they bulk thing because it's cheaper.
