Bill Maher and his chubby for Israel.

Let me first make this CLEAR! I don't hate Jews. I just figured I'd say that because as soon as you say you have issues with Israel you MUST be Anti-Semetic. If I said I had a problem with Ethiopia would you say I hate Blacks, or Japan does that mean I automatically hate the Japanese? This is especially absurd and dangerous because of how ( Read more... )

Well, there seems to be a clear division in the Jewish community. You have those, like me, that are not a Zionist. Then you have those like Maher that supports the state of Israel in it's Zionist society. Zionism is terrorism at it's best, and who do you think is a major supporter... The United States. These people commit unspeakable acts in the name of a religion that has been manipulated to their liking, and then we allow them to have nukes. It's wrong, and it makes me feel ill. Israel should be something I am proud of. Out of all the countries in the world that need help, we send billions a year to Israel.

While there are European Jews with blonde hair blue eyes (clearly white), there are also Jews that represent a race of people.. I'm not sure if you are stating it as a race or not.

Well I know according to Judaism. segasnk October 25 2006, 01:15:41 UTC
The child is only considered Jewish if the mother is Jewish. My argument is this against a race. While I'm sure there are people fully Jewish I think a lot of blood has been mixed and some people CAN'T call themselves Jewish in terms of race.
I also, and this is on another note, don't like the stereotype that most Jewish people have big noses and perhaps nasally voices though that may just be for the women. I have a friend who's Jewish whom I haven't seen in a while and she contradicts these ideas. In fact unless she told you you probably wouldn't even know she was Jewish.

Well, that's more rare than you would think. My Dad is the Jew, my mom is Cherokee. Never once did anyone ever say to me that I wasn't a Jew due to that fact. It's more common with the Orthodox traditionalists, very ignorant if you ask me. As far as I am concerned I'm half Jew/Cherokee, ask me my religion and I'll tell ya something else.

Eh, I never thought that I looked the part of a Jew, or even a Native American.. but this one time a girl said to me "Are you Jewish, you have a Jewish nose?" How rude! lol.

Haha. No such thing as a Jewish nose. A European nose maybe as it seems a LOT of the features commonly labeled Jewish seem to come from Europe IMO.

I just have to tell someone this who will really understand.

Today at work the temp we've had for a couple of weeks told me she was a pesco-pollo vegan.

WTF?! Why can't people just freaking say "I don't eat beef and pork" because THAT'S WHAT YOU REALLY MEAN. There ain't nothing vegan about eating fish and chicken.

I didn't react. I just couldn't because the level of dumb was just too painful for me.

Anyways, sorry to bother you in your personal space but I needed to get the whoa off my chest. I hope you don't mind!

Naw it's cool. I find it funny someone would add that to Vegan. If you're going to add that why not just say you're a Piecesectarian or something?
