Wow, whirlwind.
So, I'm back. Back from my 30th birthday adventure of 3 weeks crossing the Tien Shan in Kyrgyzstan near the Chinese western frontier on a horse with my buddy Simon. Oh the stories I have to tell. Also, how is your bottom feeling? Just asking?
I have another friend who was in Kyrgyzstan at the same time as you, doing horsey things. I told him to look out for you but alas, forgot to tell him you're American (since you're an honorary kiwi these days), and he was looking out for kiwis. Ah well, instead he met some pointy-elbowed grandmothers who hang dead wolves on the walls of their yurt - which was almost as good as meeting you!
Glad you're back, any time you'd like to meet for coffee, I'll make time. I'd like to hear the inside of this new head of yours.

no bottom soreness at all, even after a 10 hour ride, stiff maybe for a couple minutes and then nothin! same went for simon who'd only ridden twice before. and to think, all that hemorrhoid cream and anti-chaffing cream went to waste.
let's hook up next week for a coffee when my world has settled down a bit but I still have that just off holiday vibe.
