Yeah I think I'll see those movies when I get the chance as well. ALL of them, in fact.

Corpse Bride looks great, but I'm a little disappointed cuz it looks like it's just a return to Nightmare Before Christmas. Your thoughts?

Also, Cars looks lame.

i agree, it is very "nightmare before christmas"-esque, but i am assuming the story will be much more lively. i just bought nightmare, and i have yet to stay awake for the whole thing. while it is visually appealing, the story is just so slow with very few background elements that make a movie interesting. this is mostly because nightmare was the first full length stop motion film (i think) so effort was spent on just the sheer mechanics of getting the movie done in a timely manner. corpse bride however, is computer animated. so they will be able to add much more to story and details because computers do things so quickly.

or i could be completely wrong and they could both be relativly boring yet visually impressive.

also, the voices are johnny depp and helen boham carter. these are people who will probably be able to use their voices in a much more interesting way than danny elfman, a great composer, but jack skelington was pretty boring for a lead character.

WHAT?!!?!?!? Jack Skellington is amazing and brilliant, one of the best animated leads of all time. And Danny Elfman worked very well, mostly because of the singing voice. You, my friend, are insane.
