So, Valentines Day is coming up on the 14th. Will anyone else be celebrating it? I think I might plan on doing something special for my husband. I can't give him chocolate, since I don't think there's any around.

I know him quite well, yes. But when you don't have the same things as back in my world, there's not a lot of options on what I can get him.

Yes, Valentines day. It's February 14th. And where I come from, it's a day where girls give chocolates/gifts to the boys they like. If the boy accepts the chocolates/gifts, on White day (March 14th), the boy will give something back to the girl.

It's sort of like Christmas in the fact that a female gives a gift of some sort to the man they love, but usually it's chocolate, and not an actual present.

It's quite interesting. Girls go crazy over Valentines day, where I come from.

Valentines day is what a lot of people call the day of love. You give chocolate or candy to the person you love. You do romantic things with them.

Ah, it's basically just another commercialized holiday.
