So much has happened in so little time, and my mind is still blown. The whole story is too long so I'll give you highlights ( Read more... )

Wow. Wow wow wow. I can't believe everything, that's crazy... I hope that you can redo the financial aid and get a good amount as an independent, so that you can not graduate crazy in debt. I bet you can go through the process to become a resident too, and not have to pay out-of-state tuition (although I supposed you might have done that already, I don't know if 20k is out of state or in state tuition for Purdue). I really hope that everything ends up working out for you, I can't wrap my mind around everything that has happened in your life over the past two years or so. I'm proud of you though for figuring out a way to make things work and getting through everything. I'm going to guess that you probably won't make it down for another visit this summer, but I hope I'll be able to see you around Christmas... Anyway just so you know ILU and my house is always open if you want to come down and not deal with crazy family drama!! :)

Also, I was thinking, idk if you filled out the bright futures stuff, but maybe going to school in Florida is a possibility. Right now it seems like you have a plan figured out, but as we all know stuff happens so if you did fill out bright futures, it might be good to keep that in mind as a potential back up plan. Anyway that just occurred to me so I thought I'd throw it out there!

Lol, Bright futures full ride is always an option but, like I said I can't handle being any less than 1000 miles from home for more than a couple days.

I'm really glad that you've found someone stable in your life, that's definitely something you needed and I'm so happy for you. :) Medical withdrawal will help a lot, at least getting back that tuition money (helped a lot for Jimmy when he had to last fall), and I'm glad you got a job too (so hard to find one here). So much has happened with you since I've known you...it's unbelievable. Claiming you're independent will help with separating yourself from all that drama, and hopefully it works out! I will miss you so much, and I hope you will come down to visit around Christmas, like Darcy said. You are also more than welcome to stay at my house whenever you like. <3

Thanks hun. I wish Purdue would give back tuition money. If they do I won't see any of it anyway. It's dad's money.

Oh that's crappy. Yeah they reimbursed James on his courses but that was because he had to drop them after the ad/drop period...I guess I didn't think about that with you... :/ I hope stuff works out this summer/fall for you. Also! I was just thinking about this...lol totally have a new apartment with James come August 19 so you can totally stay there, we'll have a nice leather couch with you're name on it. :D

I really admire your strong spirit in overcoming all the things that have been thrown at you. Randy and his family seem wonderful and I'm very glad you have them to stand by you. Please let me know if you need anything. <3

Things sound pretty crazy, but it's great that you have a way to move beyond. Life doesn't always go how it's supposed to but you're intelligent and will be successful regardless of how you get your degree, where you go, or how many orders of mashed potatoes and fried chicken you have to serve to fund it. I hope you can come for a visit and avoid family drama because Bradenton does miss your face. =)
