Although there are a few who are on my side, unless a bunch of people come along suddenly and tell me they agree, I've come to terms with the fact that most people seem to think Hinata will become clan leader, and that's cool, I'm probably wrong. Oh well. ( But since I said I'd post my reasoning for why I think it will be Neji, here it is. )

Judging from the last entry, it looks like you're outnumbered four to one, but that's not terribly significant with only five votes.

Especially since only one "vote" counts - Kishimoto's.

And go ahead and have fun with it if you're right. ;) But there's no way I'm getting in the middle if someone else decides to tear you a new one over it.

I'm talking about from other fc's, too, although it's still not a very large sampling.

I have no idea. It's a hypothetical situation. ;)

And I figured it was more than just us four since you spoke of some people agreeing (which I hadn't seen), but it still seemed likely to be that small sample.

I didn't see the last post, but if I had, I would've said both. XDDDDDDDDD It's the NejiHina fan in me, I suppose. Yeah, this probably won't happen, but my ideal is for the two of them to marry and unite the Houses together, but again...I'm not holding my breath on that. XD

But you make a good argument for Neji being best suited as the head. Considering what he's been through, I think it'd be fitting, and he'd bring something fresh to the position. Though...if I'm going to be truthful, I'm with the Hinata crowd. ^^ And maybe, when I'm feeling less incoherent, I can articulate why. XD

And I know what you mean with marriage united the two Houses together - I'm a HanaNeji fan. XD (I am also not holding my breath)

But I'm glad to hear I at least presented not completely off the wall reasoning even if you don't agree. When you are feeling articulate, just post a comment on my previous post, please. :)

I think/hope that it'll be both also.

I think that Hinata would be the titular head and do most of the facework because Neji strikes me as being pretty uninterested in having to socialize. I think that he'd be more in the support role in the background.

But it could also go the other way and I'd be happy.

To be honest, I have no idea who's going to be the head of the Hyuuga clan. I also am not sure who I'd want it to be either though it would be awesome if it were Hinata. I can see your points and they're certainly valid. In the end, if I have to say, I think Kishimoto's probably going for Neji as well.

It would be awesome for it to be Hinata, no argument there, I just saw more foreshadowing and connections with Neji. But my ideal would be Hinata is made head, so she gets that honor, and then with her authority passes it on to Neji. I'll laugh, though, if Kishi never even addresses any of this by the end. :D
