Strangely enough, considering I grew up in the frozen north, my Grandma turned me on to Louis Armstrong. She adored him. So I've loved Satchmo since I was a really little girl!

If Grandma knew I was lucky enough to be living in the land of dreamy dreams, and how happy it makes me, I think she'd heartily approve.
Your grandma sounds cool. I grew up in Baltimore. My dad loved the ratpack, but my mom loved Satch.
Of course I've seen the "New Orleans" movie - love it. Did you know that "Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans" was written specificaly for that movie? It's true. One of the best soundtracks EVER.

Of course I've seen the "New Orleans" movie - love it. Did you know that "Do You Know What it Means to Miss New Orleans" was written specificaly for that movie? It's true. One of the best soundtracks EVER.
