The Grand Old Update....on my condition...
Well, I sucessfully freaked everyone out last night by taking my 102 degree fever self into the ER.
I get there at 8. I have to wear this cool (but not really) mask. I sit there for a while, and finally get to go in. Inside they preformed an inordinate number of tests on my poor, hacking body. Then they gave me more fever reducer (bringing the grand total up to 1600 mg), and gave me cough supressant. After which, they told me to cough up stuff and put it in a jar. No...it didn't make sense, but I was in no condition to argue.
Then they took me (garbed in the most stylish of hospital gowns) into the X-Ray room. I got X-rays done, and they guy was really nice, so I got to go into the dark room and see how the X-rays are made. After that, I went back to my room and waited some more...
The doctor comes in, and gives me this diagnosis:
I have pnumonia. However, this is concerning because they think it might be my old pnumonia mutated and come back. They also think that all this pnumonia may have permenantly damaged my lungs. If I don't get better in a week, I have to get a brochioscaphy done (that's when they stick cameras into your lungs. sounds like a party).
Bottom line: I am very sick. And I can't go to school for another day. So...call me...because I'm bored and quite lonely!
