This is a beautiful tag to the respective scene in the "Angel" series finale, and you did a great job of capturing Wesley's turmoil of emotions in that very moment.

Yet, leading the life he did, Wesley should have known he was going to go out in a tragdy-like fashon rather than prevailing comedy-style.

Very moving indeed.

What a heart-wrenching but ultimately very true and satisfying drabble about Wesley's last few moments in Illyria's Fred-shaped arms. For him, it was a desperate act to give into the deception; and it also showed what an incredible journey Illyria herself had behind her, how deeply she cared what happened to Wes.

Excellently written!
