how do you get a ship date without your legal wife's signature and birth certificate? she gets half of your pension being married for a single day. a divorce will come but it's not going to happen for six months to a year.

First of all, you are misinformed. I do not even receive any 'pension' until, and unless, I am honorably discharged. I did not need anyone's signature or birth certificate but my own and my son's, both of which I have. The other thing I needed was just a marriage certificate, which I also have.
As far as her getting anything, no.. that's false. I already went through all of this with my recruiter and the personnel down at MEPS.
I tried to get information from her, and she chose to ignore it, and me... proclaiming herself "Widowed". Even still, if she had given me the information I requested, the best thing she would have gotten is full medical and dental.
I've stopped calling it divorce and started calling it "flushing".

Also, I really don't appreciate anonymous posts, not that I can stop them. I only tolerate them from one person and apparently that person isn't you. I won't be around to respond to anything else you put on here so don't bother.

Well then I hope for your sake that there really is some sort of clause about abandonment in there. Because if you did this.

(1) Fraudulent enlistment or appointment.
(b) That the accused knowingly misrepresented or deliberately concealed a certain material fact or facts regarding qualifications of the accused for enlistment or appointment;

The punishment would be this.
(1) Fraudulent enlistment or appointment. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 2 years.

(2) Fraudulent separation. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years.

Being in DEP program myself and having several friends already on bases. I promise you it will be reported if that's what occured. If it is legit then good luck in Iraq. The divorce will be done as soon as possible and you won't be notified. Good luck.

Well, since I'm dealing with an expert... I suppose I really should watch myself. Then again, you seem to be unable to use complete sentences in some cases. I am guessing your stupidity would match your ignorance.
The above statement really had nothing to do with anything I said above. I didn't give them any fraudulent information.
And I won't be notified of the divorce? Fine. Especially if that means I don't have to pay for that, also - just like I paid for damn near everything else.
Again, please do not post here anymore.
