Togekiss. Why?
To be honest, I couldn't actually stand Togepi or its evolutions until Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. Something about that game made me like a number of pokemon that I hadn't even really considered I might like. Togekiss is a reasonable size for a flying pokemon, yet lightweight. It could, theoretically, perch on someone's head without being too heavy. It's always so happy and playful-looking, and its cry is so pretty. My Togekiss (affectionately nicknamed Skyfire, due both to his coloration and his function as my big flying taxi) has a Bashful nature, which just makes him more adorable in my mind. He never leaves my party, even though he's really only ever of any use in double battles.
Togekiss reminds me of an owl. Just something about the body structure, I guess.
