Little Man

G-d I love this time of year, because then I get to see my golden windows.

Oreo died this morning. I’m shocked, she’s not even a year old.  She was a very smart and beautiful chicken. I only wished I took more photos of her. D: The irony is we’ve thought Silky was the one on her deathbed. She’s now… 11 years old. O_O;; If you ever want a pet chicken with a long life, I say got get your self a Japanese Silky.

My mom’s really pissed because she really liked Oreo. That was one smart chicken and she had a great personality, if you walked up to her she’d stop and let you pet her. :D Oreo was a Bantam; she’s HUGE, black with white speckles and had feathers on her orange feet.

I’m only hoping that Silky will be our last chicken. I’ve grown tired of the mess ><

Wednesday: we took Wiley to the vet in Santa Monica. He apparently has Congestive Heart Failure. ): While he was at the vet we went walked around the promenade. Personally I’m not the kind of person who enjoys shopping so it was really boring. I’d rather sit and stare at the ocean. My mom and I concluded Santa Monica is “Dirty Snobby”

Then as we drove through Woodland hills we labeled it “Clean Snobby” I’d rather walk around Downtown LA. That’s more of my comfort zone. ^^;

The sunset was really lovely, I only wished I had my Camera.

That night Kat came over and we watched Eurotrip and the 2nd episode of Dead Like Me.

Back to the topic of Wiley, he is now even more spoiled then ever. He gets his own special dog food which is ground beef, potato and broccoli. + omega 3. I feel sorry for the other dogs, they probably are jealous of Wuwu.

Oh and there were three snow white kittens up for adoption. This one kitten was absolutely adorable, you could do anything to her: hold her upside down, rub her belly, and play with her paws. What I really liked is that she had one green eye and one blue eye. :D

Thursday: Kat, her mom, my sister, my mom and I went to San Gabriel for Dim-sum. It was nice but I don’t have to do it again for a long time. Too much food. XP

We walked around some of the stores. There was one video store we browsed through. I had little hope of finding TC’s album, but I did spy Wang Leehom’s album :P

Then Kat came over later for more “Dead Like Me” marathon.

Oh and the sunset this night was also gorgeous and yet again I had no camera… >(

Friday: It’s painful as the days towards my next semester draws nearer…I suppose I should set up my backpack, fill up the gas tank, buy books, open my new scientific calculator.

It still will never feel the same as my old Ti-36… especially considering this new one is a down grade Ti-30…I did see a Ti-36 in the store but it wasn’t solar, and the whole point of wanting to buy and new calculator was to have a solar one, thus I know I’d have a back up calculator that would “theoretically” never fail me on an exam.

I’ll learn to love it. At least I still have my Ti-89. The unfortunate thing is most college math teachers to allow graphing calculators in calculus. DX Which means I have to use my brain a little more. lol

Book: I must be insensitive because at New Years I mentioned to everyone how I just finished “The Joy Luck Club” and every person (including a male) said they cried reading that book or watching the movie…

The Hunchback of Notre Dame- One of the several books I got for my Birthday. No wonder Victor Hugo was my Bubbe’s favorite writer. My only complaint about his writing is he likes to have long winded ramblings about history. In Les Miserable it was about Napoleon and in The Hunch Back of Notre Dame is was about kings and the architecture of Paris.

If you intend to read the novel “The Hunchback Of Notre Dame” thinking it will be like the Disney movie, you are very much mistaken. The book is actually very dark and depressing and filled with lots and lots of Dramatic Irony. That’s another trend I’ve noticed in Hugo’s writings. He likes to jump around to all these side stories and then slowly weave them together as the finale approaches.

The only character I had deep sympathy for was Quasimodo.
I also felt somewhat sorry for La Esmeralda she was too naïve and blinded by love.

Captains Phoebus needs to be castrated and well Claude Frollo already got a befitting end for all the pain he’s caused in this novel.

I’ve come to also detest the Poet Gringoire. It’s one thing to be intelligent but when the learned person is arrogant, well it just bloody pisses me off!

pet:oreo, food:dim sum, book:the hunchback on notre dame, pet:wiley, friend:katherine
