I don't really get what your point is when you say, "I think it would be a little easier on everyone if we simply did our task and left. We have the tech: take the bad guys out publically. Say aloud to the people in their own language why." and then follow with, "At anyrate, I think war is retarded."

That's sort of contradictory imo. Personally, I don't believe in war. I think everyone should mind their own fucking business. You know, in a perfect world.

If we weren't such *consumers*, and acted a hell of a lot more responsibly and be self sufficient, perhaps we would not feel the need to involve ourselves with the conflicts and other business going on elsewhere.

Then again, we have people in top positions in this country who love nothing more than to fight, kill, maim, pillage, and rape innocent people rather than take care of their own.

Oh, I mean that why are we at war now when we could take out any and all people involved in any attacks on our land and people. If they wanted Osama, they could take him out before he gets back home on a plane ride, or from the bathroom. I was just wording it to be more generic for all the various groups that have done something to try and provoke our army or leaders in a violent way.

The war is retarded is more of a broad feeling about war in general.

I definitely don't think Osama or his posse had anything to do with 9/11. He did have something to do with the bombing in '95 though.
