In Retrospect and Looking Forward.

It has certainly been a while since I last visited any of my blogs. This entry will be a personal record that I will look back upon in the future:

On the whole, I've become much happier and satisfied with life. A large portion of this satisfaction is due to freedom from parents (although don't get me wrong - I really do love them a lot. They can ( Read more... )

Haha oh I miss thee a lot too, foofie :3

And I've decided to never use my xanga account again. I may open up a new account, but that takes too much effort (layout! D:)

I'll stick with LJ/facebook from now on.

My xanga seems overly immature now? Plus I don't like the new features of xanga D: - too complex for my mind ~_~.

I'm leaving on the Wednesday before Good Friday, so I'll have ~4 days at home. I have an interview then :3.

Did you go to a gifted school or something like Eve? (You smart people...) I don't really find first year harder or easier, but I think it requires more discipline because there's no one to constantly keep pushing you (i.e. teachers...oh those annoying people who I'm so thankful for). And I agree, once you start skipping, it's so hard to stop. I skipped chem for like, a month or something...inorganic chem...what is that..? For me, "Every Day is Exactly the Same" was the beginning of this year...and then I made friends. I can't see you as a slacker though...you seem so...motivated. Like, all the time. And you won't settle for anything lower than 90. ??? I have to admit, you scare me a little...but that's a good thing, I think. I want to live on residence too...:(. I'm going to come trash your place one day. Can you sight read well?

Yeah I did go to a gifted school, and my first semester was pretty hellish. I definitely agree that it's more discipline, which I tend to get about a week before a test, haha. I'm thankful for labs/course community/problem sets because they keep me semi caught up.

Haha 90 is a requirement for me since I'm aiming for med school :3. Research for the rest of my life is not my cup of tea. I hope you're going to chem tutorial now? XD I'm feeling pre-midterm jitters for chem, mainly because I haven't really studied for it at all.

Definitely come trash my place =). We can go to my res's crappy pianos and jam it out! I've gotten worse at sight reading over the years, so I can't guarantee anything :\.

I would never go for med school. Even as a kid, although I did not know what I wanted to be, I knew for sure, not a doctor. I hate course community. They don't make me study at all. I'm worried for midterm, but I just have to study, I guess. There's nothing else I can do about it...school is all about working harder all the time. I really like the calc PS's because I don't usually study for quizzes, I just learn from the PS. And yes, I am going to chem tutorial now because I like physical chem much, much better than inorganic. Although...if it happens to be just as pointless, then I'll only go to every other one...I'm sorry! Maybe you'll just happen to sleep in that day too...

I'm sure your pianos are better than UC's broken up piano...I have a composition that Eve wants to hear but I can't play it (haha even though it's my own). And maybe you can play the Wicked piano music too (that book I showed you that you totally weren't excited about).

Haha I love medicine and the prospect of helping others =). Although it's such a difficult path ;_;...30 hour shifts, here I come! I want to do well on the course community's quizzes, so I'm forced to study for them :P. I hope to see you more at tutorial - and if you've heard from Eve, I'm trying to make her and some other friends pester me on MSN to get me to bed at around midnight (as opposed to 3-4 AM >_>). So no more sleeping in! (*crosses fingers*)

Ohh I'd love to play it! Is it very difficult? How can you write it without playing it? Do you have a gifted ear? And maybe I can play Wicked music which I was totally excited about =). I warn you that I suck uber much now.
