I was away at the gaming convention all weekend, so once again I missed out on the initial announcements.

First up, Shonentai's upcoming releases.

"Sou" CD single
Release date: July 9, 2006

It's their first single in over five years.

"Playzone 2006 - Change" OST
Release date: July 15, 2006

The First Press will feature a "changing card" which sounds like one of those holographic things where the picture changes when you tilt it.

"Deep in Your Heart"/"+Million but -Love" CD single
Release date: July 12, 2006

This is a double-A side release. "Deep in Your Heart" is the theme song for the anime "Jyuousei" (in which Koichi has been voice-acting the part of Tooru), while "+Million but -Love" is the opening theme song for the TV variety show "Ongaku Senshi Music Fighter".

Notice that the Shonentai release dates are not on the typical Wednesdays, but on weekends. I don't think they're expecting Oricon #1 for even the "Sou" single, but I'm quite sure JE has set it up so that they don't directly compete against Koichi or any of their other artists releasing at that time.
