"5 Round III" DVD by TOKIO
Release date: July 19, 2006
Click here for CDJapan listing. It's the third collection of TOKIO's PVs. There are five clips, including "Love You Only (10th Anniversary Version)" thru "Mr. Traveling Man". Making-of footage is included for all of them, and there's new footage for at least 2-3 of the songs. Also featured is video & audio commentary by all of the group members. Lastly, there's a 15-second CM clip and some previously unreleased footage ("Jumbo", "君を想うとき", "Hum a Tune") from the "TOKIO Special GIG" of April 18, 2004 at Shibuya Duo.
A fourth version of "Get Your Dream" has been added.
Click here for CDJapan listing of Limited Edition Type "C". It's only 500 yen, and the tracklist is just "Get Your Dream" and its backing track. The catch is this: inside this package will be an ID number coupon to apply towards the "TOKIO Special GIGs 2006" which I think is their acoustic tour this fall? Applications will be accepted from June 21-26, 2006.
Newsbytes:
- Source: Sponichi Annex. Michael Jackson made a surprise guest appearance at the recording of FujiTV's SMAPxSMAP variety show. It'll air next Monday, June 5, and I understand there's already a little clip out there on Youtube. At the height of his popularity in the 1980s, MJ was a big influence on JE. Years later, it led to his collaboration, as executive producer, with J-Friends (TOKIO, V6, KinKi Kids) on "Children's Holiday" (1997) and "People of the World" (1999). Anyway, the reactions of the SMAP members were priceless
! - I don't know if it's true what I read somewhere...Jun Matsumoto of Arashi attending the 17th annual Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan on June 10? I guess he'd be a presenter, but would he also perform? Solo??
