Just got back from Hokkaido. Mom and Jun's teeth are as white as ever. And Shinji... has no teeth, but his gums are pink in a very unnaturally healthy way.

It's cold up there, but there's nothing like Hokkaido crab. I brought some back with me, and a melon to boot. We're pretty much loaded, here. Jun also gave me a movie as an afterthought. ( Read more... )

Yup. I've got family up there.

They're grown in cold water, so they're much fatter and plainly delicious. I brought home a hairy crab and a snow crab, so, hopefully we'll be able to eat them while they're still fresh.

They're frozen and vacuum-sealed.
