It's odd. This year has been, by and large, very strange. It started off catastrophic. At one point I just didn't even care enough to get up in the morning. Then tragedy really struck, and it jogged me out of my weird hang-up. Some other stuff happened after, but it honestly wasn't enough to affect me ( Read more... )

It actually makes me really happy that you forgot you quit smoking- it means not smoking has just become part of your life that you (hopefully) don't think about all that often.

I can't tell you how happy I am that you two've figured out you want to be together. You're both awesome. Dude, I am so proud of you. You've grown up a whole helluva lot. And not in the boring 'trudge trudge' way. But in the way just getting better all the time way. I am thrilled to hear you sound HAPPY. I can remember bitch sessions where we both were miserable when we first met. And to hear you sounding as happy as I feel? Well, dude, that rocks.
