For most students, leaving class and returning to their dorm served as sanctuary-- a place to relax after a grueling day of classes, socialize with friends, and generally 'kick back'. But for Uryuu it was the complete opposite: returning to his dorm felt like a chore while attending class served to be a welcome escape. Of course, these circumstances had nothing to do with the school or its curriculum. Things had gone swimmingly during his freshman year at Seireitei Prep, and foolishly, Uryuu had expected his sophomore year to be much of the same. In fact, the only difference between this year and the last was that he had a roommate..
...and that was the biggest problem of all.
Head held high, Uryuu continued to make his way down the hall until he reached his door. Hand hovering momentarily over the knob, Uryuu steeled himself and walked inside.
