FLOORWIDE LOG:: OPEN::: EVERYONE :: JUST DO IT

After the room fiasco, after the class fiasco, after the godforsaken cafeteria fiasco, there was still everything else to deal with in life at Seireitei.

As one might imagine, a certain Kuchiki was less than pleased and a little more towards the direction of the no-I-don't-want-to-be-here-actually-and-no-thanks-to-you-jerk.

But she didn't say as much ( Read more... )

faculty, students, staff, wait a minute, terrible sadists

SHE WAS LATE. SHE WAS LATE. Yachiru whooshed down the halls in an effort to stumble into the meeting on time. AFTERALLAFTERALL no one had told her about the meeting until this morning! And as in this morning she meant five minutes ago! By phone call! Asking her if she was there yet! Which she wasn't!

Yachiru characteristically started peeking in everydoor, trying to figure out exactly where she was supposed to be (after all, there would be a lot of people there, right?!) and somehow managed to find the door in the first five minutes (A RECORD).

She pushed open the door and scrambled in, before glancing around, trying to see exactly how late she was. Only to see a completely empty room.

Pause. Consider. In right room? Must be. SENSE OF DIRECTION NEVER WRONG. Conclusion:

"NO ONE'S HERE?!

So they had dorm meetings in the dungeon. Toushirou didn't find that completely out of character for the sadists that staffed Seireitei; it just fit, in a morbid, humorless way. He came down the stairs rather slowly. He was already late and found he really didn't care all that much.

What was another detention over nothing? (A part of him wanted to just roll his eyes at himself; of all the things to get hung up on, it was that.)

He had almost convinced himself that he could get through this meeting without imploding when he heard it.

That shrill voice demanding attention.

He took a moment to thank every deity he could think of that he hadn't actually walked into the room yet. He stopped outside the door, actually took a few steps back, and decided once and for all that garnering another detention for not showing up to some required meeting had to be better than being in a room alone with the Pink Monster.

He was not going in there.

Tatsuki tried to be on time to this "dorm-meeting", she really did. But at the same time, how could she tear herself away from the gym when she knew that every extra minute spent there meant she'd be that much better.

So she was late. Racing down the stairs two at a time, she screeched to a halt when she saw the freshman boy (Toushirou, was it?)inching away from the door. At least she wasn't the only one tardy.

"Hey, it sounds like someone's in there."

A very loud someone.

"This is where we're supposed to have the dorm-wide meeting or whatever, right?"

Toushirou looked over his shoulder as the girl practically tumbled down the stairs; he was beginning to wonder if anyone around this place had any control. Yelling, running down steps... what was next?

He sighed and nodded. "That's the room."

The room he was not entering.

"Enter at your own risk," he muttered.

Tatsuki looked at him quizzically. He wasn't going in?
She thought that everyone had to go to this stupid thing.

"Why do you say that?" she asked. "Who all is in there?"

Toushirou glanced up and furrowed his brow at her expression. Why did everyone ask questions? Surely she heard the exclamation from inside the room and could attach it to the Pink Monster. Who didn't know to keep far away from Yachiru?

"She's short, pink, and makes like miserable," he told her.

Ulquiorra realized he was late, though he knew that no one was bound to notice. They never noticed at this school, did they? Well, he could hope that, at least. The last thing he needed now was a reason to get in trouble. Though, there was never a real reason in why everyone had gotten into so much trouble in the first place.

He descended down the stairs, catching a glimpse of white, standing indignant by a door. He mentally sighed.

"It seems I'm not the only one who was ill-informed of this meeting," he thought aloud, standing at the foot of the stairs.

He did hope that he would be fortunate to not be subjected to unwanted attention, from teacher or student, but he knew that he wouldn't be so lucky..

Yachiru blinked as she heard the door open, her eyes quickly darting over to the door as she noticed a boy walk into the room. Not only was this any boy though, OH NO. IT WAS SOMEONE NEW.

"Oooooh~! SUKISUKI, LOOKITSSOMEONENEW~!" Yachiru exclaimed to Tatsuki, before (characteristically) rushing over to the new boy's side.

"HEY! MISTER! Who're you?" she beamed.

Ulquiorra realized why Toushirou was standing outside, regretting having entered the room. He looked to his side, connecting eyes with the pink girl.

"My name is Ulquiorra Schiffer," he said, walking out of the way of the door (and in turn out of the way of the.. thing).

He was thoroughly convinced this school was run by sadists that couldn't tie their shoes. He had to put up with incompetent office personell, detentions for things he hadn't done (yet, deep down, would have loved), and now this.

Ulquiorra.. really didn't know what to say.

Yachiru smiled up at the other before, cheerfully offering her hand out to shake, "My name's Yachiru~! Yachiru Kusajishi!" she introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you, Quorara!" she chirped, managing somehow to position her body in a way that blocked the exit at the same time.

Totally unintentionally though, of course.

Of course. Ulquiorra was beginning to wonder if the newest requirement to enroll in this school was to be "have an IQ below 100".

He frowned, half-glaring at her grin. "..Whatever."

He directed his attention elsewhere, noting the emptiness. "It seems this meeting wasn't very well planned out at all. That is, if one could even call it that," he said, thinking out loud. What a disappointment.

Tatsuki gave the newcomer a once-over. He looked about as thrilled to be here as Toushirou did. Hopefully he wouldn't prove to be as big of a douchebag.

"Hey. I'm Tatsuki Arisawa, it's nice to meet you."

Rolling her eyes, she silently agreed with him. Everyone from the dorm was supposed to be there, and a grand total of three had shown up. What a perfect waste of time. WHERE THE HELL WAS EVERYBODY?

Deep breaths, Tatsuki. Deep breaths.

"Hey Yachiru, everyone knows about this meeting right?" Maybe they had gotten the time wrong, or something.

Yachiru's eyes swept over the room, thinking. Before finally:

"Hmmmmm... I THINK SO~!" she decided, obviously not really knowing if it was true or not. "I got a phone call that told me about it!" she grinned.

"What's this whole thing supposed to be about anyways?" she frowned.

Tatsuki wasn't sure. She just knew that she was supposed to show up in the pits of hell basement at the appointed time. Apparently, it was a mandatory meeting for all of the dormitories. Maybe it was a "let's pre-emptively yell at our students about the rules they haven't (or in the case of Ichigo's food fight, have) broken yet" lecture.

"You know, Yachi? I have no idea."
