In fact, at that very moment the vertically challenged girl was dressed in a pink raincoat that reached down to her ankles, not to mention a pink rainhat as well, the entire outfit complete by blue galoshes with (pink) bunnies all over them, just to play in the impending thunderstorm.
"It's raining it's pouring the old man is snoring he went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning!" she chanted as she jumped from puddle to puddle, water splashing everywhere.
She blinked as she jumped in the last puddle, which, instead of making a satisfying splashing sound made more of a plashing sound. She looked confused, before jumping in the puddle again with the same effect.
She stared at the puddle, confused, before looking up and noticing a very soaked Ulquiorra in front of her.
Ulquiorra sighed. His white school uniform was now soaked -- completely covered -- in rainwater and mud. "Why don't you ask yourself that? ..and.. nevermind," he said, knowing full well that she would ignore his questions, and his requests. Why bother, in the long run?
Ulquiorra felt rain falling onto the top of his jet-black head, adding to the completely soaked effect.
"..And why are you following me, Usagi?" he asked her, repressing a glare.
He raised an eyebrow. "Then, I assume, it is by sadistic coincidence that we happen to be within 15 feet of each other, isn't it?"
Ulquiorra's emerald eyes studied her for a second, before he asked: "Why would anyone in their right mind want to 'play' in this," he said, motioning to the water falling around them.
Before waiting for her answer, Ulquiorra decided that he'd gotten sick of the peppy, too-happy-for-his-liking of Yachiru. He highly doubted Yachiru would notice anyway.
"I hate children..," he muttered, taking a few steps in the opposite direction.

"... QUORARA? Why are you so wet?!"

"I was playing in the rain!" she explained brightly, motioning down to her rain gear.
"I think the real question should be why are you following me!" she added after a moment of thought. "Huh, huh, Quorara?"
