my picks match yours. lol. although i'm pretty sure i'll be crucified if anyone finds out i picked a republican hahaha. Bernard Goldberg once said that we're all only democrats until we actually grow up. That saying has always made me chuckle a little bit.

Haha, well, we have a closed party primary in my state so I didn't get the option of voting for Romney. I voted Clinton.

I don't buy the younger voters go for the dems and the older ones go for repubs. The issues that are important to me... health care, education, human and civil rights, etc... are all issues that are part of me that I will never outgrow. The older I do get, the more I feel compelled to fight for them. I don't think I would ever be ok with knowing people working full time still live below poverty level and stuff like that. Never. Unless the Republican party overhauled itself, which will never happen with an insanely extreme base, I don't think I'd ever vote Republican.

if today's republican's were actually republicans (Ron Paul is closest) they might have a chance. i think people are so turned off by the bush administration that we will have a democrat in office. i do find it to be odd that everyone wants to promise free healthcare, etc, but truth be told: insurance companies are SO powerful i just can't see it happening. they control too much.
