Of course it would figure that I get sick right before training camp. Dammit. This had better have run its course by the end of the week, that's all I can say. At least I usually feel better within a few days.

At least I'm not sick enough not to go. Well, I mean, obviously - it's nothing that bad, just uncomfortable. I'm used to it by now.

I think "ow" is a pretty good way to describe how everything feels at the moment. Well, I guess I knew I'd be sore, but I'm not giving up unless I can't take it in a few more days. Got some wrist and ankle weights while I was home this weekend. Heard it might help; I guess I'll give them a try and see what happens. I've been so sick all day. I'm sure I've far exceeded the normal daily recommended amount of painkillers. Maybe I'll just die before my mom gets here. At least I finished two books. Can't go get more now though.

Plan A is not working so well. I haven't given up on it completely, but I think it might be time to work on Plan B: convince mother that she really doesn't need to see my dorm room because it's not exciting.
