Shabu Shabu goodness with unnaturally large foreigner ratio this time. We will be having some combination of shabu-shabu/sukiyaki as per the request of a visitor from Hokkaido. Akudaikan is still fixing the date/place, but we do have a fallback location (the one in Akihabara we went to before) if all else fails...which is still really good with ( Read more... )

I'm coming back to Japan tomorrow -- I'll try to see if I can come along on Saturday, but you know I'm bad at ACTUALLY managing to come along sometimes...

Akudaikan has been arranging a lot of food-gatherings recently, but we have had an abnormally high number of visitors from overseas, too (or foreign nationals that happen to live in Japan now)

When August rolls around, let me know when you are in the area.
