Shimizu was groggily walking along the corridor with a pile of books on hand. He didn't have much sleep again last night, which contributes to his somnolent behavior.
He struggles to pass by the running students and the chatty ladies blocking the hall. At one point, he thought he heard someone call him but he didn't notice who. He continues to walk, finding a quiet place where he could enjoy a small basket of onigiri and the presence of his books.
Upon making a turn, he felt a lot peaceful. It was noiseless at this corridor. He managed to close his eyes a bit when *thud* It seems he accidentally bumped into someone and the books lay restless on the floor.
"Ah.. Gomenasai..." Shimizu apologized and slowly reached for the books...
What was that? He felt something (or rather someone) crashed into him from behind.
Tsukimori turned around and realized it was no other than Shimizu, looking groggy and absentminded as usual. He saw that the boy has also scattered his books on the floor because of the impact. Sighing, he bent down and started picking up one.
"You shouldn't be so careless while walking," he said. Well, it might also be Tsukimori's fault for just standing there.
He handed him the book and frowned, watching the blank expression on the lowerclassman's face. "Are you okay?"
For some reason, Tsukimori wished the boy should stop being such a lump all the time especially when he's in public. It makes him look sort of dense. There was also something about Shimizu Keiichi that makes Tsukimori feel responsible if anything bad happens to him somehow. The older boy tried his best to shake that feeling. It's uncalled for.

The sun was bright and crisp as Kaji strolled around the music department's corridor. Everywhere he look, he could observe several cheery musicians playing their instruments to their heart's desire and some, reading peacefully their respective music books. They were all brilliant but he can't help but feel some sort of minor agitation.
"I'm doing an errand for sensei." he kept saying to himself. Since sensei specifically ordered him to deliver the papers to the music faculty. He decided to pick up the pace and get this over with.
He gracefully turned right knowing Ousaki-san's Orchestra Club will be on the way. He can't help but entertain the interest to take a peek at these instrumentalists. However, it seems someone familiar was standing along the way, and who'd have thought he'd be stumbling upon the prodigy?
"Hey! Fancy to see you. What are you doing here, standing all alone?" he asked, curious. He didn't expect Tsukimori Len to be caught up in a such daze.
Tsukimori noticed that a certain uninvited presence by the name of Kaji Aoi was approaching him from where he stood. He really didn't want to talk to anybody right now; particularly him at that. He couldn't handle the pleasantries for today, especially now that he's irritated by the fact that the letter was bothering him. Still, the young prodigy is somewhat thankful that at least it wasn't the cheery sempai Hihara whose mischief and almost-ADHD exuberance are very distracting.
"Hey! Fancy to see you. What are you doing here, standing all alone?"
Tsukimori crossed his arms, huffing out some air to relax his shoulders and chest from the gravity of his perplexing situation. "Nothing special," he replied, looking sideways. He paused and closed his eyes. When he opened them, he stared directly at Kaji with an almost disapproving look, clearly painting his annoyance at the moment.
Kaji was surprised at Tsukimori's sudden irksome behavior. He can't help but assume that it's because of him... but why? He decided to brush the thought away.
"Nothing special." was all he said but there's something quite hidden beneath those two words [as he spoke them.] Kaji wondered if he should poke on the matter, although he knew it's best to just leave him be [especially with that look]. However, he let his curiosity win.
"You wouldn't be standing there with no particular reason at all." said he. Upon saying that, he noticed a piece of paper peeking out of Tsukimori's pocket. Referring to that, he asked, "Bad grades?" He wondered if this was a pathetic attempt of conversation.. and realized that maybe it is.
Tsukimori stopped glaring at Kaji the moment he started to speak. There was no use trying to antagonize him for something that has nothing to do with him at all. Besides, having him around shouldn't be such a big deal anyway. For a short time he was acquainted with the other boy, Tsukimori wasn't bothered about him at all. He knew that he was quite---what was the word? Taken with---no--infatuated(?) with Hino. He had heard him spouting out flowery words around her or about her any chance he gets. That's mostly what Kaji Aoi was all about. Even if he knew who he was when they were younger, Tsukimori never paid attention.
"No," he replied to his inquiry about bad grades (a very flawed, if not insulting, speculation). "I don't get bad grades."
Tsukimori uncrossed his arms and shoved his hands on his pockets. He felt the paper bulging out and he pushed it further inside, realizing that the other boy must have seen it.
"Why are you here?" he asked. Not like he cared but since Kaji looked like he wanted to chat or something---then might

Hihara came out of Kanayan's office with a smile on his face. He convinced Kanayan to treat him later.
As he was walking away from the office, he saw a familiar kouhai standing in the middle of the corridor. It was unusual to see him dazed like that so Hihara decided to approach him.
"Hey, Tsukimori! What are you doing here? Is something wrong?"
He flashed his usual grin while he waited for Tsukimori to answer.
"Hey, Tsukimori! What are you doing here? Is something wrong?"
Just his luck. Hihara-sempai was running towards him in just a short distance. He was grinning again in a sort of way one won't fail to notice even among a big crowd.
"Nothing in particular, sempai. I was just going to see Kanazawa-sensei for something." He pressed a hand against his pocket where the letter was hidden. It felt unusually heavy.
He paused. Then an idea struck him. "Have you seen Ousaki-sempai around lately?"
"Ah, Kanayan eh? I just came from his office. I got him to agree to treat me again! I'm great, aren't I?"..."You want me to accompany you there? I'm sure Kanayan would be happy to have me there again!"
Loud. Too loud. Tsukimori can only express his growing annoyance with a slight frown.
"Ne, are you going to see Kanayan for what's inside your pocket? What's in it? Show me please!"
And then the older boy gives him that doe-eyed look again as if it would make a difference. It certainly won't force his hand open. He got a bit nervous when Hihara-sempai had noticed that he was hiding something in his pocket but he tried to remain calm. He spoke up in a manner that hinted his need for discretion. "It is nothing of importance. You shouldn't concern yourself. So Ousaki-sempai is not around today?"

Hihara grinned energetically, as if he was really proud of what he had done.

"Ne, are you going to see Kanayan for what's inside your pocket? What's in it? Show me please!"
Hihara purposely put on puppy eyes. It might help get Tsukimori to show him.
"Ousaki-sempai? I only see him during the Oke club sessions. What do you need him for?"
