Unexpected

When I arrived at work today, my supervisor asked me to step into his office. This is right about when my heart started pounding much faster than normal. He didn't ask me to sit down and shut the door, so I took this as a good sign ... and I was right. He told me that one of my current students stopped by and gave me very high praises. I'm guilty of not providing my teachers/professors with enough positive feedback. And now I feel bad, because I did provide a good share of negative (to a teacher who's motivational speeches consisted of ridiculing the students to the point I quite literally watched them lose self esteem throughout the semester).

Congrats! Making a difference always feels amazing.
