My Wicked Self
Everyone who knows me knows that I'm vegan. It's not necessarily something that I advertise any more than I advertise that I'm a college English professor. But being vegan is a part of who I am, just as much as my choice of life profession.
This is why I haven't told anyone at my church that I'm vegan. It just hasn't come up. Not yet, anyway. ( Read more... )

Plus the next day I brought a new batch of cupcakes in for my students, who all raved (but then, they could be brownnosing for an "A"). However, the department secretaries each had one, and they were so impressed that they asked for the recipe. My students knew these cupcakes would be vegan, and I did mention this to the secretaries. One of the secretaries said that, if I hadn't said anything, she never would have guessed the cupcakes were vegan. So I say, SCORE!!! :D
