Eating my words? More like not eating much of anything anymore

This blog is 100% pity. Pure. Unadulterated. Uncensored. Pity.

This is no cold ... this is full blown strep throat. When the doctor examined me yesterday, she took one look in my mouth, gasped, and immediately declared that I have strep. No need for a closer examination. No need for a strep test. It's pretty far gone.

I have been this sick only once

Well at least you know! And with a bacterial infection and antibiotics you should start feeling much better 24-48 hours after you start taking them.

Lots of rest and a good steady diet of vegetable and herb broth and popcicles, you'll be back to it in no time!

Tell me about it! It took about three days to feel functional on the drugs. I didn't feel 100%, but it was better than before!
