Last night's GLBT Meetup went well. I set out for the Loop about 6:20pm, and met drubear outside the DePaul Center B&N shortly before the meeting. As we were ordering drinks, we met up with Dan, the Meetup coordinator who recognized Chris from his pic. We sat down and started chatting, then another couple, Dan and Marty, showed up. damn I meant to ask you how the meetup went, I got distracted by tales of the paranormal ;) Scary Lady Sarah does the Goth meetup at the mercury cafe (often at the same time as the chess meetup, we have a few overlapping members including SLS) It's a good size just make sure you don't schedule a meetup during their open mike night! The food is really good too. I'm so down for making ritual tools too, i already started an offering plate some time ago, perhaps I should finish it? I really want to do pottery again too, I love throwing pots!

oh yeah Colleen was on the phone with me during that thunderclap, she said it shook the house, I was in Park Ridge and I barely heard it though.
