Fandom: Young Justice
Characters: Robin, Megan,
Summary: Robin does not appreciate how he hears Megan being talked about.
Josh Harn was a normal average teenage boy. This meant he had normal average teenage hormones. Like other boys his age, this would end up getting himself into trouble.
"Dude! Have you seen Miss Martian's body? I heard she can even shapeshift. Imagine the possibilities man! She could be anyone you ever wanted to be!" Josh was animatedly telling his friends as they walked home. It was an hour after the sun had set, and Josh and his friends were heading home before it got too dark.
"I would so bang her if I could," Josh smirked. "The fact she's a hot green skin alien babe is just the icing on the top."
"You wouldn't even stand a chance," one of his friends said, punching him in the shoulder.
"Keep dreaming!" another one shouted as they parted ways.
Josh waved bye to his friends, before coming outside of his apartment building. Before he can step inside and start the long climb upwards, a lasso drops around him, hoisting him into the air. Next thing Josh knew he was 50 stories off the ground, looking at a very pissed off Boy Wonder.
"U-mm... hi Robin? Josh nervously said. His hands gripped tightly to the line that is the only holding him from becoming a pancake on the ground. He isn't sure why the Boy Wonder wasn't in Gotham, but he didn't ask.
The partner to the infamous Batman narrowed his eyes. His frown grew deeper.
"For the record," the teen vigilante said. "I do not like the way you're speaking about Miss M. She is not a prize you can just 'conquer'. She isn't an object. She's a person and I happen to consider her like a sister. Now, I never want to hear you talking about her in that way, understood?"
Josh nodded furiously. "Y-yeah."
"Robin?"
Josh turned his head to see Miss Martian floating in the air. Oh dear god, he hoped she didn't hear any of that. "What are you doing?" she asked.
Robin gave a cheerful wave. "Oh nothing much, Miss M. Just saving a guy from falling off a building, isn't that right buddy?"
Josh paled at the vicious smile on Robin's face. "O-of course," he agreed.
Miss Martian gave a nod. "Well let's hurry back to the ship."
Robin nodded. "Of course." He gave Josh a glare. "I'm glad we had this talk. Remember not to do that again, right?"
Josh nodded. Robin released the line, dropping him back down to the ground (possibly a little faster then he should have but Josh was just happy to have both feet on the ground again).
Once Josh was back on the ground, Megan looked at Robin again. "Rob?" she asked, still not sure what was going on.
"Megs," Robin replied. "Nothing to worry about." Creepy bastards were never gonna get close to Megan if he had any say in it. Robin made a note to himself to have a "similar talk" to Superboy later on. That was, once Superboy realized his feelings and Robin finished making some kypronite laced birdarangs, of course. Pushing those thoughts aside for now, Robin shot a grappling hook to another skyscraper. "Race you back?" he shouted, leaping off the building.
She laughed and flew after him.
