Summary: Wendy still can't believe she agreed to this.
Wendy smiled nervously behind the pink fan she was holding. She politely declined the offer of a drink from the waiter as she twisted her brown hair. Then Wendy reached down to brush the large frilly ruffles of her pink dress, hoping desperately to be anywhere else but here.
“Dick,” Wendy whispered softly. “Please tell me you’re almost done.”
“Just need a couple more minutes,” Dick mumbled.
“You’ve been under there for five minutes!”
“Under there” was under Wendy’s pink frilly dress as Dick hacked the target’s computer. Wendy was just happy that the dress was big enough to actually fit her friend under there without drawing much attention.
“Did you really have to duck under my dress?” Wendy complained.
“Yes. Because Artemis was coming by and she can’t see me being me now can she. Beside you’re just upset because you’re in a dress, Walllyyy~”
“S-shut up!” Wendy flushed a brilliant red color.
“Why? I heard Megan and Kaldur stop by and say you look lovely tonight.”
Even though Wendy couldn’t see Dick, she knew full well that The Boy Wonder was grinning widely under her dress.
“We are never speaking of this again,” Wendy muttered. She was never going to forgive Dick for this. Honestly she can’t believe she agreed to this.
“I already took pictures,” Dick sang. “If I ever tell the team my ID, this is the first thing I’m going use to distract them.”
“Shut up Dick! I said never again!”
