I'm not into Bollywood movies, but I never miss any of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films. In fact, I introduced Alex to the soundtracks of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas and he loved them in spite of not understanding the words. Bhansali's movies are a class apart. I have yet to see Black, though; I think I'll just buy the DVD.
A lot of it is in English. It is very touching movie. I am sure Alex will enjoy it. You could buy one with subtitles. Do let me know what you feel after watching the movie.:)
Hm. Black as a movie is pretty commendable, almost from a perspective of a dumb/deaf and a blind person. We can feel the passion in the director. No comments about the acting, but I tot Ab kissing rani was lil too much, but later I thought, it was the defining moment in the movie.

I would own the dvd for just the photography.
