I'm not a fan of anything Death Note, so it had me lol'ing.

Americans got a hold of Speed Racer, Street Fighter (of course focusing on Chun Li), DragonBall Z, now Death Note, and Akira. As past video game-to-movie films have shown, anime-to-movie films are probably going to be just as successful, if successful is the right word. Total trainwreck failure, perhaps. I'm surprised there isn't a Naruto movie being made. It's popular, so why not?
