SO TIRED.

Mar 10, 2009 18:31

I don't know what's up, but I am so tired. I went to bed at 9:30 last night because I was exhausted, and couldn't sleep til after midnight (and had to wake up at 6:30 this morning). I'm going to finish the line 4 captions tonight, because it'll be relaxing and it'll keep me from going to bed too early... but this is really absurd, how nonfunctional ( Read more... )

*hug* Definitely sounds like sick-tired talk to me. I know because I've been sick-tired the last couple of days and have been talking this way about things that are nowhere near as valid to talk this way about. But I'm so excited for you with that fellowship!

Thanks, I'm glad I'm not alone. And that totally makes sense on your end too, after Cabaret and all that! (I wish I could've seen it!) Good luck no getting what illness you're trying not to get. *non-contagious internet hug*

I hope you're not getting sick and that it's just the deep fatigue of the weekend in la Suisse. And I'm sorry that it's been such a drag in your garret, which is tiny, even by garret standards. And I'm glad you got a new, more entropy-resistant camera. Can't wait for the Ligne 4 photos.

Hugs for Sophie! I know I've been enjoying looking at your pictures (and the fun comments on the subway lines) and reading all the stories; I've appreciated keeping in touch like that!

Also, soon we can both be in the trying-to-support-oneself state. I imagine it's one of those things that are good experiences afterwards - but no less draining while they're happening. And congrats on the fellowship!

Thanks Ben! Congrats on finishing comps, by the way (I saw on Facebook)! That is huge and I hope you had a massive celebration. Do you know what you'll be doing next year?

Thanks! It was great to finish, though I wish I had more time; I was really getting excited by the end and wanted to do more (and to be able to do some actual original research with old documents and such)! But overall I'm quite happy. Yay comps. Would totally do it again.

No plans for next year yet. I've started job-searching for *something* communications-related, but haven't had the time to put in a real effort yet. I also want to wait till Jen's finished hearing back from grad schools, so that it might be possible to actually end up in the same place. Which would be rather nice, but means waiting on location a bit more!

That's really something, someone who would actually do comps -again-. I am very, very, very impressed. :)

And stay in touch, I want to hear where you're going to end up!
