I didn't like the book. I mean, it's pretty good as far as it goes, but it only goes as far as being a stepping point for the final book, y'know? Not to say I hated it; I just didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the others. I'm glad someone else is bitching about it though! Snape being the Half-Blood Prince was totally irrelevant to anything. Harry's an annoying, irrational asshole. I'm upset that Snape killed Dumbledore only because it proves Harry's suspicions that something is off (even if it turns out to be that Snape was doing Dumbledore a favor by killing him), and I'm sick of Harry being pigheaded and right but still such an IDIOT, RE: what you said about the potions book, how he was too scared to think to use fire against the Inferi, etc. I think my main issue is that I have a huge problem with the whole issue of 'destiny' and 'prophecy' and 'good vs. evil' stuff.
