So a friend and I got to talking, and we broached the subject of community layout. I get bored very easily so here's the thing~ Do you think black is too sombre a colour for someone as genki as Seki-san? Do you wish to see a different layout in a colour much more fitting for his personality? Or even better, want to make one?

And can animation be saved in any other format besides .gif? Will some browser not crash trying to load the animation every few seconds? Do my questions even make sense? Coz I don't know. @.@

I don't think black is too sombre, but maybe plain black is too simple for the layout. ^^;

Personally, I don't mind about the color but would love to see more Seki-sama's lovely pics on the layout. XD

I think black is a little austere. When I think of Seki-san I get a lovely warm feeling ... sigh

Other that that I think seasonal themes are a good idea. a Seki-Summer, Seki-Spring etc - that would allow a whole range of colour schemes - and yummy pictures :)
