Oh my god, this is AMAZING. Oh, my HEART.

So many wounds and so many mistakes, she can't fix them all. He won't let her because he needs them to remind him to be careful. To tread lightly on thin ice when it is other people that go tumbling in if he stomps too hard.
Don't take it away from me, he wants to say.
She doesn't try to and that is how she always saves him.

That might be my favorite thing you've ever written. Hard to tell, though, because the rest of this is so utterly gorgeous.

Leah! Didn't expect you to find me so fastttt. @ A @;;

Awwww, really? Because this one was basically written during my lunch break and pretty much plotless. There are probably so many things wrong with it logically/canon wise, but OH WELL~

Mhmn, and yes, I couldn't resist the angst and some self-guilting Doctor. He is just so amazingly DOCTORish when he blames himself for all the world's misfortunes.

Also, we both know that plotting TARDISes sneakily occupying the same space and time are win. :)

I am extremely glad to hear that I was able to cheer you up even a bit on a stressful day, then. <3

This is an excellent piece; you have a feel not only for poetic language, but for how to use it, and not overuse it. I particularly liked this, because it describes the Eleventh Doctor beautifully:

.. get lost in a library stocked with things much like himself. Old words and new covers, papyrus skins and creaking spines, oracle bones still fresh from long dead flames.

Thanks for writing it!

Thank you! Poetry is actually a weakness of mine; I am absolute rubbish at it, but I am glad this piece does not seem to suffer from it.

Indeed, over use is often the line I catch myself straddling. It is easier if I tell myself, "Leaving out this will make that stronger," but I am not always successful.

I thought so too! I do love my Eleven terribly. <3

Three wows? I am touched!

The Doctor/Rose are my ultimate OTP I think. They are at various times adorable, funny, brave, sad, dark, sexy, and always, always loving. I adore them for it.

I am actually surprised you zeroed in on the small bits of fluff I had in here; the majority of this was pretty much angst otherwise.

Stepped over from the DWfiction community, and...

... this is one of the most beautiful short pieces I've read in a very long time.

Going to check out some more of your fiction :)
