A great weekend. The weather in San Diego was perfect. We stayed in a cheap ass motel downtown that left much to be desired, but the room was HUGE! We saved money on the room by staying at cheap-o hotel, rather than at the Omni, so we had extra money to do some fine dining on 5th Avenue. Yesterday was a pretty good day. When I got home from work, Jess and I went to the gym. When we got home, we went swimming. After a shower, I made French Onion soup. mmm. When I got back from Vegas yesterday, I spent a couple of hours ammending the venue's business plan. I may be approaching someone else for possible funding. The Vegas trip was awsome. Our jacuzzi suite was the coolest thing ever. We saw the Pietasters at the House of Blues. It was great seeing them again. The Vegas band Over The Line opened for the Pietasters. They were really good, especially their chick drummer. We did tons of stuff, and we had a blast ( Read more... )

The owner of the San Diego condo is being a jerk ass and trying to raise his asking price now. Our offer was very respectable, and well above his low asking price. The realty company told him that he was being stupid, so we'll see what happens. A great weekend. Jess returned home on Friday. She was beat from being awake for 40+ hours, so we went to sleep at 8pm. That made us wake up at 5am. It sucked at first, but I'm glad we woke up so early. We had lots of shit to do. We mowed the lawn, did a months worth of laundry, cleaned the pool, and had breakfast, all before 8am.
