Small furry animals.

So when I move out of my dad's house for good (October, hopefully!), I won't be able to have kitties anymore, not as long as I'm living in crappy, LCC-adjacent apartments. I love my kitties, I have five here at my dad's, but they all love each other too much to separate them, plus, they love being able to go outside and come back inside whenever ( Read more... )

i can sell you the cutest panther gecko in the world :) also, bearded dragons are good because you can handle them and play with them but you have to feed them gross crickets. ew. and worms. ummm....mice are cute and live for like 10 years :)

Yeah, I'm not really into feeding live things to other things, heh. But mice are a great idea. That'll probably be the first thing I get, since they'd be lowest maintenance, and then if they go well I'll probably add to my pet family :D

You can get ferrets scent glands removed, or buy some from Preuss' that already have them removed. They're pretty entertaining, I had a couple and it was a bunch of fun. Except mine still had their glands so they smeeeellllled. Guinea pigs are pretty fun too.

I wouldn't suggest a reptile if you're going to be smoking or having other noxious fumes, they're VERY sensitive.

That's cool, I didn't know Preuss sold them deglanded and everything. I'm probably getting mice first to make sure I can actually take care of things on my own, but as long as that goes well I really want ferrets too. But I really want rabbits too, and I'm not sure I should get all of them, haha. I don't know, but when I move out then you should definitely come visit my new little things :D
