It's amazing isn't it?......Jim said it was the best he's ever seen.....we came to Atlantis late, deciding to wait till SG-1 was over so we could treat it as a new series.....and we have enjoyed it in the main.....SG-1 will always be our first love....but this episode...as you say, just WOW!!

Joe F's acting was off the scale, the music superb and the photography amazing.....Neil Jackson as the "Emo/Goth Wraith" was perfect too.....

And that final poignant Johnny Cash song?...epic!!

Deeds xx

I actually liked the crew better in this universe than the original. Joe acted his butt off! I've seen him in a number of other things but he was so amazingly in this. The angst and the sadness weighed so heavily on him. It blew me away.

The Goth Wraith was amazing and you're right the music was fantastic! Rodney and Zelenka were a great toned down version of themselves - Rod was almost menancing. And the car....squee!

This was a full on five star episode. The only thing I can find wrong with it is that it wasn't longer. I could have watched this as a two hour movie.

Wouldn't it be great to have a spin off or a series within a series of this AU?

HELLS YEAH.

If they had begun the series like that or therebouts, I would probably have been hooked from episode 1.

Really? I thought it was "CSI Atlantis". I hated it.

The only CSI I've seen is CSI:NY and I loved it. :)

Watch "CSI" in Las Vegas. It will look very familiar now. There was nothing original in that episode.

I thought there was nothing original in it, just an ego-exercise in showing the public that Cooper can do something other than SciFI. The CSI take-off was amusing for a few minutes, then I tired of it.
I don't turn on Atlantis to see a cop show. There are plenty of cop shows on T.V. already. I want to see science fiction.

It probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if it hadn't been the second to last show of the series. *cries* I'll miss David Hewlett. He's like my T.V. brother.

The charcterations were fantastic and Joe was great in this role. And it was sci-fi! "Classic" almost because it was about an ordinary person who is suddenly caught up in an extraordinary situation. I loved it.

My husband and I both said, "Wow!" at the end of this show - me because I thought it was fantastic and him because he absolutely hated it. Go figure.
