Beautiful Day Today

In spite of getting off to a confusing start, (yes, I did forget to set the time forward) today has turned out to be a beautiful day. It has been in the upper 70's and mostly sunny and I have loved every minute of it. It snowed here tonight!!..*snortle*.....today we've had sun, wind, rain, ice cold temps and wet freezing snow....I cannot believe the weather this winter....

This last week we've had both snow and rain and now summer temps. Today is as different as night and day from yesterday. Weird.

Hi Sela. I'm glad you are enjoying your day.

I know that yesterday you kicked back because of rain. Yesterday it rained here too, however three friends and I had lunch at a coffee shop We relaxed and talked for hours at a table in the back.

The owner likes us because he's from Kenya and two of us can speak a little Swahili with him.

Today, it's rain storms and tornado watches, so I'm staying in as much as possible with a dog, and watching "Battlestar Gallactic" on tape (Pyewackett's extended birthday gift to me).

It's been a quiet weekend, but very nice.

I love just hanging out with friends. There's a new Panera near here and a friend and went over and closed it down on Thursday evening. We were literally the last ones out.

I loved the book, and have the movie on my list to see. I've been kicking back with a Joan of Arcadia DVD marathon since my previous plan of chilling out and catching up on my DVR was delayed when said DVR died. D'oh!

I've just recently gotten into Joan of Arcadia and I find that I really like it. I've only seen a few episodes so I'm going to have to start over from the beginning.

It's a great show. I used to love how it could make me laugh out loud and cry, often in the same episode. And I absolutely loved their portrayal of God.
