Yeah! DW Importing Successful!

I have successfully completed the importation of my active LJ userpics and my friends security settings - I think. I can see the userpics but am not sure about the Friends settings. I'll have to play with that for a bit this afternoon.

For the time being, I've decided not to import all of my entries from LJ. This is a new beginning for me and so ( Read more... )

I will be continuing with the majority of my journaling on LJ but I don't want you to feel obliged to have to keep up with all my ramblings if you do move over to DW permanently....

I'm being honest and saying that I'm waiting to see what happens in the J/D fandom before I make a big decision about moving over more comprehensively....I'll keep a toe in at DW for J/D but keep my personal stuff on LJ I think....

You'll have to forgive me if I don't see all your recent news and updates on DW...for the moment I plan on doing most of my bloggin g on lj still....it's going to be hard keeping up with 2 blogs and two lists....

Don't worry about keeping up - we can cross post from DW to LJ. Actually, this post was written on DW but was automatically posted on LJ. Neat trick, huh? :D

As for keeping up on LJ with my LJ flist, it's just like I always will do when I open the computer to see what has happened in the world. I'll just add my DW reading page to the list of sites I go to read.

You're not getting rid of me that easily...

Congrats on getting everything moved :-) and good luck on your new adventure in blogging ...I have a hard enough time keeping up with life in general LOL (grin), a GW blog and an LJ blog so I admire anyone who can do it with regularity!

Like Hats I had no clue what DW was..so it was cool to find out about a new resource for self expression and I wish you the best as you embark on a new blog :-) *hugs*

Congrats on the importing things... it's getting close to open now.. What I'm most excited about is the layout options LOL...

From what I understand, new ones are on the way. It's fun - like decorating a new apartment ot house when you move in. I'm excited about it!

Cool - I'll look for it! I think at first, mine will house mostly new fan fiction with a little real life thrown in. We'll see.
