I feel a little sad for Bra'tac having lost the other two, but I'm glad he can smile a little at the end and share his memories.

I almost put "M" for "Mourning" when I wrote this because I did feel an aspect of mourning at the loss of both Hammond and Jacob. I didn't because I didn't want it to be too down and also to focus on who the three of them were to the Tauri and to each other.

Yes, I am still making my way through the alphabet, and I'm finally up to M!

I love how nuanced this is - the solemnity of ritual as tribute to George, Teal'c wanting to be part of this as he'd been way back when, and of course, the salute to three awesome guys who were all bald. :)

Quiet as it's kept, I've been wanting to shave Bra'tac's head for a loooong time! LOL. You had to shave your head to put on the skull cap that went with the Jaffa armour. I wanted to take this simple act of shaving and raise it to a Jaffa ritual for the elite warrior caste.

I do love our bald Stargate guys! I've always seen them together as a guiding force behind the emergence of the Tauri into the community of the stars. There was also a measure of my own mourning in this with the passing of Don S. Davis and of Stargate as a whole. I miss my show and I miss these guys.

Thank You for nudging us back to our glory days. :) I appreciate so much all of the time and effort that you put into this for us.
