My daughter darkawaii and I spent the better part of the day together. We took the dogs for a walk in the park, and spent a lot of time taking photographs. Aww =) That kinda makes me wish that my Mom and I had a better relationship. We get along great, together...don't get me wrong. But she's so busy that we never get to do fun things like that, or even go out to eat together. The last time I went out with my Mom to do something together was when I went to testify for her in court regarding my parent's divorce. Plus, I'm too scared to be as open as I'd like to with her, which forces a sort of barrier up between us. I'm sure she knows I keep things from her, but I'd love her to at least just accept me for who I am without having to give me another lecture about how I'm going to ruin my life. I know she's proud of me and she's a great mother, she's just not very affectionate or vocal about her pride in me and the things I do.

*sigh* ...sorry to rant in your journal, but just realize that what you have with your daughter is priceless and beautiful, not so many people are that lucky. =)

Aw...I am sorry sweetie. I wish all mothers and daughters could have what we have. She is my very best friend. She can tell me anything, and I her. Maybe you should tell your Mom how you feel...it might knock that barrier down.

I would hate it if my daughter moved. :( Yikes...but I would deal with it if I had to.
