How about the pattern Miah got that the guys used for their shirts? An option on it was to make it floor-length, and it would just have to be widened enough to be roomy.

I don't know about Egyptian, but I know that Persian clothing (at least during the SCA time period, which is all that really exists in my universe) was sometimes trimmed with fingerloop braid.

Ok...looks like I misread and the trim for the neckline is for someone else's outfit. The offer to toss out some fingerloop braid for yours still stands. Pick colors & tell me what you need. :) (Ie, 2 pieces x long for the sleeves, a piece y long for the neck, etc etc)
