You are NOT a bitch at all! I can count the million times someone has tried to set me up with a fugly guy and I'm apparently supposed to be 'thankful' that he's a 'nice boy', because there are 'so many goodlooking boys out there who are actually jerks'. It is terrible to aspire to date a boy who's BOTH good looking AND nice? I don't get it why girls, especially, have to sell themselves short, while guys can just have anyone they want. It's ridiculous. >(

Totally not shallow. I myself had a "Mr. Collins" type of attempted set up from someone in the neighborhood. His son is in the military and wanted to find a girlfriend. NATURALLY, ask all the mothers of young girls in the neighborhood if their daughter wanted to date his son. Apparently he as truly fugly, completely with severe lazy eye. Mum told me the story and I laughed and laughed.

Sounds like you need to vent. Want to talk to someone who has no idea what's going on? lol

I agree with you all the way! I always think the same thing as you such as why do I need to look pretty for a guy? Why do I need to spend time putting on makeup?! So my philosophy is: I'm not wearing mini-skirts and high heels until guys wear them just as often as girls do.

I support you all the way Dada-sistaaa!
