A list of things as they occur to me

1. We saw The Hunger Games last night. My biggest issue was with the shaky-cam, honestly. I pretty much liked everything else they did. Yay! I liked the books well enough, and some of the issues with them were made better by the movie. The shaky-cam does get better after awhile, so it didn't kill the movie for me, but be prepared if you go. ^^ Also ( Read more... )

Yay for you feeling better, sprained thigh, cracked heel and all! Sleeping regularly is a good thing too. Also eating well. Good for you!

I just heard the same thing about the Hunger Games from my sister. She suggested I bring dramamine when I go because I get even more motion sick than she does.

The heel and thigh are a bit better today, so that's good. I just finished my weight lifting! :D Thanks!

Yeah, bring some if you get motion sick. I don't at all, but it definitely bugged me a little. It does calm down after awhile! And I think it's worth it. :D

My interest in the Hunger Games is limited. It might be because my interest in YA fiction is also limited. I'll have to check it out though, there are so many people getting all gaga over it. :P

I'm glad to hear you're doing well. :D

Ha, that's okay. This particular series is pretty adult, though. Go ahead and watch the movie without the books, you should be fine. :)

I think you're doing better too, yes? Yay! :D

I agree. The shaky-cam was a bit annoying especially since I forgot to bring my glasses, so my vision was a bit blurred to begin with. Overall I was really happy with it, though I do agree with this article's point about leaving out the district 11 gift of bread.

Lifting weights rocks! Don't let anyone tell you that you have to strictly do cardio. So not true. Though sucks to have the pulled muscle and cracked heel. :(

Apparently they filmed the gift of bread bit, but it ended up getting cut. DVD extra? And yeah, even though I don't get motion sick, I don't particularly LIKE not being able to make out WTF is going on. I get why they did it, but meh. They could have still done it without AS much blurring, etc.

I lift weights too; I've been told to by my doctor, heh. I just had done it more recently, so I wanted to take a walk. I did yesterday, as both legs are doing better. :)
