I was having a lot of trouble with Shaun in school. He's a lot younger than JD but it still really frustrated me. Every year his teacher would want to hold him back and for some reason I just kept pushing him through. Last year I insisted he be held back and his teacher agreed with me. He was struggling to make C's and he had special teachers working with him, we even talked about the possibility of ADHD (his doc said he didn't have it). It was hard for me. I didn't want him to lose all interest in school or to feel like he wasn't smart enough. He's completely turned around this year and is doing great but for his first 3 years of school I thought I was going to lose my mind. I don't know why I felt the need to tell you this, I guess you talking about JD made me want to share. I do hope that they find an option that works for him, I know it's got to be frustrating.
