I've got this whole week off so no excuses. I will do chores and projects around the house. I have invited some people over for Thanksgiving dinner. I'm not exactly sure who is coming yet but I will cook and who ever can show up is going to get fed. It seemed like a good idea to keep it casual and open ended for people who just can't commit. I hope you have a great week off. You shouldn't have to spend the whole week cleaning and stuff so I hope you get some good down time in without too much grump from the hubby.

Don't worry I've learned a few tricks to streamline the cleaning for the most part so it will look like I spend more time than I actually do.

What the mom never heard of a stuffy or a blankie? A piece of cardstock? That is just puzzling. Ah well what can ya do.

I hope the hubs doesnt get on your case too much. Especially if he had off and you had to work I bet you'd be fine with it. Next time he will just have to take vacation time with you:)

The mom just hadn't thought of bringing anything to church for the child. She had given him the paper when they were in the service to keep him occupied, and then decided to bring him to my class after all. She probably had no idea that he would be so attached to that little paper because it was the last thing she had given him. Oh, and she might have been distracted because she just gave birth to twins a couple of weeks ago. Sorry my post made it sound like she was an idiot but I think she was just well you know...

Also, my hubby has had time off when I didn't, and the thing is he doesn't have to worry about keeping track of a kid because school is in session. He also doesn't do much around here so I will not let it bug me if he complains a little bit. I'll just ignore him.LOL
